Last year our friends and longtime partners at Bom Jesus won 3rd most sustainable coffee farm in Brazil, they have recently doubled down and have taken 1st place for natural processed coffee at the Alta Mogiana Specialty Coffees awards. Fetching $12,000 Brazilian Real, equivalent to $3,500 AUD per bag, this coffee is very sought after and why we only have a very small amount. Lucas & Gabriel Oliveira are the 6th generation of Oliveira to be custodians of the farm. Lucas is an agronomist and leads the team to strive for sustainability and quality, while Gabriel manages operations and logistics working to partner with people like us, adapting to the changing coffee industry. The separation of location day lots can be attributed to identifying very special coffee, worthy of micro lot treatment and eventually submission into awards consideration. This year, the numerous awards received are a culmination of the years of hard work, evolving and adaptive systems to remain at the forefront of coffee production in Brazil.
