We’re not your average wedding venue. An industrial warehouse with kitchen garden courtyard, festoon lighting, hanging greenery and a giant timber bar, we’re the kind of place that wedding dreams are made of. Say “I do” to the smell of freshly roasted small-batch coffee and espresso martinis on tap.

Whether you’re planning an intimate elopement, a relaxed celebration or an all-out formal affair, our Mornington venue is a big ol’ blank canvas for your big day. If you’ve got a vibe in mind, we’ll help create it. Want live music? We know a guy. Fancy a food truck? Tacos? Pizza? Take your pick. We’ve got a community of experienced local vendors, vetted and ready to roll.

Our all-weather venue is perfect rain, hail or shine — if you score a sunny afternoon we can keep things alfresco in the leafy back courtyard, or if dark and stormy clouds roll in, we’ll pull the roller doors down and bring the party inside like it was all part of the plan.

In the lead up and on the day, you’ll have the support of our event coordinator and experienced hospitality team, ensuring everything goes off without a hitch. Venue, coordination, catering, drinks. Planning your dream wedding just got a whole lot easier.

From birthday parties to bar mitzvahs, we host all kinds of functions at Commonfolk. Whatever the occasion, we can customise a package to suit your needs and budget.

Just like our folkers, every wedding is unique. We’ll work with you to create a custom package that marries your dreams and your budget.

We can’t write your vows for you, but we’ve got you covered for just about everything else. From set-up to clean-up, guest arrival to sparkler send-off, our events coordinator and on-site team will ensure every detail is taken care of. 

Our Mornington venue can comfortably accommodate 100 folks but if you have different requirements book in a time to come and see the venue for yourself.

Our in-house kitchen team provide a full suite of catering services, sourcing local produce from our kitchen garden and family farms in Bittern and Balnarring. We can cater for all dietary requirements, ensuring no one goes hungry.

You betcha. We’ve got flexible spaces to take you from “I dos” to cocktail hour, from dinner to dancing to last drinks and last last drinks. 

You’re welcome to bring in your own vendors for certain services such as photography, entertainment and florals. For anything else, chat to our event coordinator and we’ll do our best to accommodate.

You’re welcome to bring in your own decorations and entertainment, so long as you take them with you at the end of the night. Our venue turns into a cafe come morning, so we ask that you leave the space as you found it.

Got a date in mind? We recommend booking as early as possible to avoid disappointment, especially if you’re after a weekend date during the peak season. Chat to the team about availability and booking timelines.

We understand that sometimes life happens! Whilst any deposits are non-refundable, we’ll happily change the date.

Our Mornington venue comfortably accommodates 100 guests. However, we’d love to discuss how we can best accommodate your group.

All of our functions are staffed by Commonfolk’s crew of hospitality professionals. Staffing costs are dependent on the nature of the function and the number of guests.
