Help us support a coffee industry that's fair for everyone involved. We welcome all folkers to join us for Good Coffee Month this August, to show support to The Cup That Counts in funding a project with our producer partners Zukuka Bora, in Uganda.

In previous years, we had Good Coffee Day, in which funds were raised to purchase land and infrastructure at the Sipi and Bududa sites. This year, we thought, why limit ourselves to one day when we could celebrate good coffee for a whole month? Good Coffee Month will raise funds to purchase land and infrastructure in Koutlai, a site west of Mount Elgon where the Zukuka Bora warehouse is located. The Iteso community within this region are not coffee producers, due to being too far west where conditions are drier, and the land is flatter. These conditions however, are ideal for drying coffee. Providing infrastructure in Koutlai provides opportunities for those who have not been part of Zukuka Bora to become part of the organisation, in addition to the established producers on Mount Elgon. This also releases the mountain sites to purchase and process more coffee than ever before. 

So, how can you support and get involved?

You can support in many ways, whether as an individual or business by purchasing Good Coffee Month supporting products or selecting one of our supporter packages.
