Nestled in the lush, mountainous landscapes of La Plata and El Pital in Huila, Colombia, the Campos-Roa family crafts coffee that embodies the rich agricultural traditions of the region. Huila is Colombia’s largest coffee-growing department, renowned for its fertile volcanic soil, high altitudes, and ideal climate. It has been at the forefront of specialty coffee production for decades, like forever and ever.
This lot can consist of many varietals from any member of the Campos Roa clan, whether V. Colombia, Castillo, Caturron and a few others, we don’t mind. Whatever Diego and Don Ellias deem fit for us to get that harvest, we’ll do it. We just ask that it sings as one of our staple line-up coffees. But with Don Ellias at the helm and Diego following suit. We know we’re in good hands.
This harvest’s La Fam had been hiding out as a major player in Chury Bro - Winter Seasonal and now it’s time to let it shine on its own before the fresh crop arrives at the end of this year. We always get sweet brown sugar or cola and some good acidic notes from La Familia. This year it hits the mark and follows up with nectarine, apples and some sweet peach tea.
Did you know 20c from every kilogram of coffee roasted and every cup sold goes to The Cup That Counts.
