Join the journey as we relocate our cafe to 43 Playne St, Frankston
The gateway to the Mornington Peninsula, and to great food and coffee.
Led by head of culinary Nathan Witting, the Frankston kitchen produces a tight menu of brunch classics. You’ll find your usual favourites from our Mornington HQ, alongside a few special additions for our friends in Frankston.
We’re dedicated to using the very best produce that the Mornington Peninsula has to offer, and love working with like-minded folk using organic farming techniques, regenerative agriculture, and endemic or heirloom produce.
We’re hunter-gatherers at heart, what we can't forage we grow, and what we can't grow we source locally. We're lucky enough to have a small farms in Bittern and Balnarring run by Sam's [Commonfolk Founder] Mother Jenny, and whatever they can't grow we try and source from local farmers and suppliers.
Keen to get involved? We can repurpose your surplus backyard harvest in exchange for coffee. Neat, huh?
As with all of our venues, 20c from every cup of coffee brewed and every kilo of coffee roasted is donated to The Cup That Counts, an initiative dedicated to creating a fairer and tastier coffee industry for everyone involved. Find out more.
