Double, double toil and trouble; coffee browns, and espresso bubbles.
Brimstone is Commonfolk’s first foray into the dark arts of dark roasting. But we like to do things properly. No shortcuts, no burnt roasts. Just depth, balance, and a little bit of dragon conflagration.
This blend brings together one of our oldest partners and one of our newest. Naturals from Zukuka Bora in Uganda meet washed lots from Vava Coffee in Kenya. Zukuka brings body, texture, and fruit. Vava keeps it in the right realm with chocolate and a touch of acidity. Designed for espresso, especially with milk. Punchy enough to cut through, balanced enough to keep you coming back.
When Thieves approached us about creating something for their subscribers, we didn’t turn our warty noses up. Instead, we saw a chance to bring our partners and their coffees to a crowd we don’t usually reach. If you lot love it, Brimstone might just stick around, and who knows what else we’ll throw into the cauldron next.
So dismount thy steed and unbind thy cuirass and gauntlets. Settle by the hearth with thy sistren & brethren, hath heated milk anoint this elixir. Either afore, twixt or after one's daily campaign. Let this draught restores thy vitality. Anyway, it’s bloody good in milk.
